A Top Notch Course!

DRM: Calgary, Alberta

As you step onto the first tee at David Richardson Memorial (DRM), you’re met with a breathtaking views of rolling hills, mountains in the background and lush greenery. The full course layout spans over 18 holes, each offering its own set of obstacles and surprises. From wide-open fairways that showcase the natural beauty of the surroundings to tight, technical shots that test players' accuracy and finesse, the course provides a diverse range of challenges for disc golf enthusiasts and it has quickly become a favourite local course for me!

My HOME Course!

Forest Lawn: Calgary, Alberta

Forest Lawn disc golf course is my most played course in Calgary. It is great for getting a practice round in and trying out new lines. With multiple holes at under 300 ft and even some reaching close to 400ft it provides variety in elevation, shot shaping and distance. There is a 18 hole layout as well as a 24 hole layout so depending on how much time you have you could extend your round. There aren’t any washrooms available so be sure to go before your round!

You can watch my full F9 and B9 at this course, I do only play the standard 18 hole layout in this video.

A Disc Golf Resort!?

The Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort, located in Stanwood, Washington, offers a picturesque setting, ideal for disc golf enthusiasts. The resort boasts red tees which have a separate green tee for a beginner-friendly experience, rental carts for added convenience, a pro shop for disc golf equipment and advice, three (almost four) unique courses for a diverse playing experience, an on-site restaurant for dining and socializing, and a putting course to enhance your putting skills. It's a great place for a disc golf adventure in a beautiful natural environment.

There is even a campground tucked right down the road to the course which is approximately only 1.6 miles away (a 4 minute drive!).

Portlands BEST Course

Pier Park Disc Golf Course: Portland, OR

In this episode we are in Portland Oregon playing one of my favourite courses in Portland, Pier Park. Pier Park disc golf course is on the Northwestern side of Portland and it hosts a disc golf course with MASSIVE red cedar trees that will take your breath away.

I’ve travelled to several courses throughout this year and this one is definitely near the top, I hope you can feel how excited I am through the screen and make sure to add this course to your bucket list!
